Trailering the 14 footer over to fish the Canadian shore tomorrow-probably put in the Puce-Pikes Creek area. Anyone know of any good bait shops in that area?

Thanks,

Jim

Wally's baitshop is very near the bridge. Once you get over the bridge, hang a quick sharp right, which will take you back under the bridge. Follow that down to Rivers Edge and hang a left. Wallys will be about a 1/2 mile down on your left.

There are probably others closer to where you are going, however, that is the only one that I am sure of.

Depending on how early you are going, Wally's may not be open yet. Strictly Fishing is another quarter(?) mile down on the same side of the street, and they open pre-dawn.

Dave, did you get your transom fixed? Hope that did not put a damper on the fall perch fishing. We been doing very well on the eyes up in the middle channel (LSC). See ya at the next meeting:grouphug: .

Vince, the boat is up and running and has been putting a bit of a dent into the perch population. Not sure how many more times it will get out this season, given the weather.

I'd like to her some more details about your middle channel fishing at the next DWF meeting.
