From what I understand Proline is no longer in business. I just bought a Sniper last year and love it. Does anyone else own Proline bows? What's your opinion on them, jus curious.....?

I've owned a couple. I had a Proline New Wave that I loved, great bow in it's day and their are a ton still in use in this state. The market outside this state was pretty slim though. Sold it cheap to a friend who needed a bow but didn't have a lot of money...he doesn't use it, I may buy it back just to have. I also had a Proline Mountain Bow, their first model with a machined risor. I liked this bow, but I traded this bow and another for a new one. Looking back, probably wasn't a good idea.
They built good solid bows, but nothing flashy. In todays market, you have to have a larger advertising market and some sort of flash wether it really worked or not.
If it fits you well, it should be a fine bow.

Last I knew Proline was alive and doing fine. Darton bought them out when they went out of bussiness back in 95 I think it was. A couple of guys who worked there bought it back from Darton last year ot the year before because Darton no longer wanted it.Here is their home page
