I decided to try bow hunting this year and was fortunate to be able to use a Hoyt FastFlight for the season. I am just a beginner in the bow hunting area and I do not have any idea how old this bow is or where it fit into the quality spectrum when it was new. It is rated at 55 to 70 lb with a 30 inch draw length. Can anyone tell me more about this bow? Thanks

Hoyt had a "Fast-Flight" version of just about every model/riser in the early to late 90's. The "Fast-Flight" package gave you the faster cams but more importantly their laminated glass limbs. I currently shoot a super slam "Fast-Flight" and while not as efficiant as todays models it does get the job done; I have no regrets. It was Hoyt's top line bow at the time and ranked at the top of the food chain at the time as well. You either have a Pro-Vantage, Pro-Force, Specter? or SuperSlam. All but the ProVantage are reflex risers. Shoot it well it will serve you very well. . .

Thank you, I am glad to hear of its quality. I did take a doe with it last week and thought it performed very well. I think I am hooked.
