the heart got hit by the center chunk of arrow as it broke inside the deer ( i shot him while he was walking slowly and i believe that is what broke the arrow)

the mark on his back is a injury from another deer...

Beautiful buck. I was wondering what that mark on his back was. Looked like you scalped him. Thought it was some buck camp ritual.

Oustanding hunt.

Awesome Buck! I'm still waiting on one to come by that big. Hopefully this week, or one of those does may be in trouble.

That's a great buck. Are you sure it isn't a 1 1/2 yr old. The rack screams OLDER, but at 137lbs and still having the milk teeth!! Either way he's got some incredible genes.

Well done.

Well done.

2.5 sounds about right for age. I shot a 2.5 year old six point that weighed exactly 137 pounds.

That is one heck of a buck at any age. But at 2.5... Holy Crap. Congrats.

the mark on his back is a injury from a tine...there are a few bigger boys out there ...

his weight of 137 was hanging..so put the guts back in him and he would be closer to 170 maybe...???
