Did anybody get a chance to see the lake today? I have the day off work tomorrow but I’m pretty sure the water will still be chocolate milk. :( I was hoping to run to Canada but that side will probably be the worst. Looks like I might have to fish the US side. :yikes: Geez, this could be like fishing a new lake for the 1st time! :p Any American side tips are appreciated. :)

I might be able to take a vacation day Thurs or Fri but tomorrow is a work freebe. I'll probably be out there somewhere, burning gas if nothing else. Do you think the Sturgeon Hole might be fishable? I could always dig the Smokercraft out of the garage and pull wire or jig. :)

John,
I'll be in the Sturgeon Hole tomorrow between 7-7:30am.
The wind was WSW for most of yesterday so it was blowing right off shore by the sand piles.
The water should be fishable for wire or jigging.
Based on the packed stomachs of the 12 I cleaned from Saturday morning they should have the feed bags on tomorrow.
I did call down and talk to Gene at the ramps this morning and he will be there for sure tomorrow morning.
Hope to see you out there it's supposed to be around 48 with winds WSW at 3mph at 7am.
Later,

Hmmm, I was going to blow it off but maybe I'll dig the 15' Smokercraft out of the garage. It's been awhile since I've fished the river. You might just see me down there!

Well, I just spent the last couple hours digging the boat out of garage, rigging jigging rods and getting my handlining stuff together. I'm not organized by any stretch but I have enough on board to catch a fish or two if they want to cooperate. George, thanks for the offer but I'm river bound for the first time in quite awhile! :)
Edit: Darn it, Jr logged me out and he is now logged in. Oh well, maybe it will bring me some luck! :)
