A buddy called me and wanted to know if I could take his boat out for a bit...he has been Up-north hunting.....so I contacted the "A" team and we assembled at the local restaraunt putting together are game plan......we got to the boat....Battery DEAD.....Big laker went off to get one of his....I went and got minnows from Lakeside....3 dozen....must have gave us six dozen!!.....and Cpt. Perch Gaurded or fishing equipment......we re-assembled....put the extra battery onboard...jumped the boat got it running...and proceeded to head out....once on the lake....took off towards 11-mile....oil caused Awfull smoke.....had to slowly make it out there.....lake was like glass.....not a bite at first....started drifting....fished for about 20-minutes with 2 throw backs to big lakers credit.....All of a sudden....bam....1 keeper....lets throw anchor!! fished for a whilenext thing we knew......One after another using our secret method  Ended up with 115 keepers between 3 of us....ran out of minnows.....After what we thought was going to be a wasted morning...ended up being a great one!! Now I am Off to Big Lakers to pick him up and go out and get us a couple of limits of walleye out at the Delphine!! ;)

It was a great day on the lake for sure. I got my limit at 8 mile area, but far out in 16 1/2 FOW.

I got my limit around 10 mile. Lots of sorting but plenty of fish!

That "dumb" comment just got you grounded for a week..........or at least till the water cleans up. ;) Again, great job on the Perch! I bought 2 gallons of minnows yesterday but I think I have overloaded my bait well capacity. Had a couple dozen bite the dust last night. :(

Nice job on the :fish: Kevin. You guys are killin me, I'm way to busy to get a day off plus we just found out that my son will have to have a kidneys transplant in the next 6 months. Maybe they'll hand around until ice up.

Thanks to all the great friends I've made here. As you's know it's all in GODS hands now. You's keep them perch close by for the coming up hard water season.
