Started at the Delphine this morning and pulled wire from 7:15-8:00am without a hit then left and hit the Sturgeon Hole. Saw so many boats that I thought a PWT tourny was going on, nets going in everywhere with the jiggers.
Partner and I had 8 fish by 10am and then the breeze shifted and it went cold for about 45 minutes with some muskie and sheephead being caught around us. I caught a 10lb sheephead with teeth marks on both sides.
Then the breeze laid down again and we picked up the last 4 from 11am-11:30am.
All fish came on silver/red jigheads with black shad Bass Assassins.
Biggest was 25" 5.5lbs and smallest was 15".

Cool Curt. Nice job putting the fish in the cooler. Something is trying to eat a 10 lb sheephead :yikes: . that might be a hint to the musky guys.

Was anyone handlining?? looks like I'll have to get a new prop for my trolling mtr. and give the old jigging a try

Looking at the wind forecasts I may be out tomorrow morning or Tuesday morning. The WSW winds of today should keep the Sturgeon Hole in good shape for the upcoming week.
