About 10 years ago in the dumping grounds I caught a 25" small mouth that hit a bomber on a board. As my buddy netted it, he said " You're not gonna believe it!", being it was the day before bass season opened, I reluctantly released it. Never have caught one close since. If I had gotten that fish mounted, my buddies would always remind anyone that it was caught out of season.

Should have taken dimensions and a couple good pics and had a replica made!!
