9 Mile Reports??

Anyone been down there lately. Thinking of heading out there for some shore fishing, weather permitting. Treated us well last fall, hoping for more of the same.

Think I'm going on Sat.......Just because nobody will be around to tell me I can't go!!! :D Probably hit up the mile roads again. Might fish ginos too, marked quite a few fish on my sunset cruise in that area.

Got to go to werk on saturday, sundays are usually my only shot at it. If I had my way, it would be a weekday, never been fond of crowds. Good Luck, let us know how it went saturday.

fasteight and I met Connor4501 down there and we had a slow start, wind was pretty nasty, made seeing the bite a little harder. After a whole day of it we went home with 40 perch, 8-12", mostly 8's, lots of dinks to weed through.

Catficious managed 2 cats as well :hide: , one about 8# and one closer to 10#+, lost at the wall. As usual, great to fish with you guys again, can't wait for next trip out there. Wind was blowing the white caps right off the waves!!

had a great time out there again today with good company, was nice to meet connor4501... got into some fish but like Harry said, ALOT of dinks to sort thru but got enough for a good snack up at deer camp... those were some nice cats, specially for 4lb test, nice job gettin the second one in Harry... hmmmmmm, why do i get the feelin there is someone gonna be replyin to this soon, and thats no "joke" :evilsmile

Alright, who bumped his rocker. Took you 4 days to notice?? If you ever get any time off work, maybe you could come along. With some unexpected time off, going to head out there this saturday and try it again.....can I borrow some of those garlic floaties??

Was on there on thursday, lots and lots of gobies.:rant: Couldn't seem to catch anything over 8 inches, lots of dinks. Fun day though.

Just got back with a limit of 8-10"s from shore. Fished from 9:30 til 2. Mostly minnows and slips, got some on a beaded jig, no bait. About 2/3 of a bucket in all. Nice to meet you Natlight, maybe we'll hook up next weekend.

Man, were there alot of boats in that little cove!! I didn't see them doing much, but the water seemed cleaner than the main lake.

Thanks for making my report short.....since I was one of the boats!!!

Only brought back 14...maybe 2x that many dinks. Slips were DEAD today..Finally figured out the bite too late (purple micro tube and minnow head) too late to make a difference in the day. Hit up a few spots, but didn't venture too far.

Looks like shore was the spot to be today!!!!

Yeah, the perch seemed to have the minnows herded against the rocks. I could see shiners and spottails most of the day. Water clarity was very good, I could see bottom in 5 FOW. All I would have needed was a cane pole today.

Can't wait for the water to get hard, last years dinks are borderline now. Next winter should be good for jumbo's.

fished sat from 9 to 10 mile in close. all the boats were very close and from the looks of it, we were all catching about the same size. plenty of action but on the small side. still can't believe how many of the small fish are females. cleaned very few males. i think the marinas have cleaner water then the lake. fished in one of them on friday and the main bite stopped when the sun shown on the water, about 9:30. cleaner, shallower water seemed to have them spooked. I think the big minnows from the 9 mile and jeff BP put up quite a fight against the perch! nice day to wrap up the boat and the season.
