Where in the heck did September and October go? I almost like the antisipation and preperation for the rifle deer season more than the hunt itself. But wow, time has flew by. Although I still want one more target practice with the ol…er, new rifle. Sew a button on the wool pants and that it. Just in time to sit in the woods.

I hear you, I keep writing september for the date at work, and its already almost november! Look out deer, I'm comin for you in a few weeks!!!;)

makes me sad to a certain extent for gun season because deer start feeling more pressure and it makes it harder to hunt with a bow..i enjoy gun hunting dont get me wrong..but after this year im enjoying bow hunting a lot! right now im on a 2 days 3 deer 2 shoots....1st 1 hit a twig and skimmed the bottom of the doe and the other 1 today i ended up with a gut shot and im heading out tmrw later in the day to see if we can find her...oh yeah this would be my first deer :) and id like to call it my first "actaul" year of hunting :cool:
