Can somebody help me find a reasonable place to shrinkwrap my boat? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've always kept my rig in a friends barn, and never worried about wrapping it. My friend no longer has a room in his barn so I'm storing it outside.Do they come to you, or do you take the boat to them?

Allyoucaneat,
I have my boat in a well at Velgers Boat Harbor.
I have seen a guy there doing the shrinkwrap.
He has all the stuff he needs in the back of a truck.
I don't know if he works there or works on his own, but you can call Marilynn at 586-463-0155 and ask her.

Thanx for the number, I'll give him a call. A friend of mine John Fenchak(boat name OUTNUMBERED) also docks at Velgers, I've heard him mention FishTales in conversation.Do you know John? I should have asked him about wrapping the boat,I think he has his done right in his backyard.Probably by the same guy. Thanx again.

This is my first season at Velger's.
I only met a few people out there.
I don't know John, does he belong to this site?.

No John has yet to take the technology plunge.I fnally got him to buy a GPS this year but I think he'll never own a computer. Is your boat a 25'-30' Bertram type of boat with a fly bridge? I guess it does'nt matter but I think I may have at least seen you on the water before and besides I'm bored and makin' conversation. My friends boat is a white Sport Craft 25' walkaround wit blue canvas and a 10horse Johnson kicker on the back. He's on the south side about halfway down.

I am in well 70 on the South side also. Mine is a 1986 Crestliner G/L Fisherman, Pewter Gray with Charcoal Stripe. http://www.michigan-sportsman.com/photopost/data/550/medium/Dsc00063.jpg

Never mind, I just went to your photo gallery and saw that beautiful CRESTLINER. I also have a CRESTY, 2002 2050 SportFish w/ lots of goodies. I love it. My dad spends his summers at a harbor on Huron and ther are quite a few like yours all rigged out for salmon. Your boat looks like it'll handle rough water pretty well and I'm sure it can catch a hell of alot of salmon. Do you salmon fish on that boat? Just curious what year and model that is?

think ed will run up to Grand Rapids for that price? $154 for my 24 footer is a deal.

and yes, I was being sarcastic... I know he won't run all the way up here. But his prices are in line or a little less than others I've seen.
