I have been thinking of getting a Honda 8 hp elect. start...for Handlining.....nice, quite, and will keep Batteries charged!! any thoughts positive or negative on the Hondas??? any help or comments are appreciated!! I am not real familiar with the engine!

I have bought two Honda 15 horse four strokers, one for me and one for my Uncle Jim. Both electric start. They are great motors so far. We have had them for a little over one year. If I had to do it again I would do the same!

Purchased one from Buearliers on Utica at Moravien!! Should be delivered in a few weeks!!

Love Honda outboards! Quiet and excellent fuel economy. I have a 90hp main engine and 9.9hp elec. start kicker. Both are solid motors. Recommend Honda highly.

One word on Honda Outboards > SWEEEEEEET!

The only worry would be service, but if they are high quality and reliable you probably will not need that much work to be done.

Beauleirs services them there!! Makes it nice...if needed they are close by!
