Today someone ripped of my new Kodiak 450 Camo.

Took it from the driveway right in front of the house.Looks like they pushed it to the road and loaded it up. It was locked in park with no keys available.

Only thing the neighbors seen was a group of pheasant hunters parked along the road close to the location that the quad tracks ended in the road. Police report has been filed info attached. Anyone hears of a jack a#$ coming up with a great deal on a 2005 kodiak give me a shout.... never even used it to pull a deer with yet!!! I sure hope it was not fellow sportsmen.

Stolen in Clarksville area.

a buddy had his ripped off ... home owners will not pay! I bought a 2005 rincon I put a seperate policy on it. The guy asked about homeowners .he said the ins. guy said it did cover it.. but when the chips were down. he was just out of luck. He now has a loan& no 4 wheeler! I got mine wit allstate $275.00 a year. Cheep if it gets stolen ! Covers Theft, wrecks, bodly injury & stuff just like a car.

I have a rider attached to my homeowners specifically for the quad and it runs between $275 - $300 a year. Definitely worth it if you owe anything on it all.

That sucks! I had a YZ125 stolen from me when it was 3 weeks old. I made that payment every month for 3 years, didn't have insurance, young and dumb. Funny thing is now I'm an insurance agent, If I'd only known then what I know now. Hopefully you have a policy on it. Good luck.

Can you check with Yamaha [factory office or dealer?] Maybe they can highlight that VIN in their warranty system so if the dimwits go for service, etc. it will raise a red flag.

Never underestimate the stupidity of criminals - they may try and get a new key made for it using the machine's serial number.

At least put the local dealer[s] on notice - someone looking to buy a new ignition switch, etc. for that model.

I have a seperate policy for mine as well, through Progressive. Way to much invested in it not to have it insured! I think it's about $280 a year.

You might want to check out Progressive when you renew. I just insured my new atv for the same coverages and it was only $85.00 for the year!

In Fact after 20+ years w/ Allstate I switched all of insurance this year (2 cars, 2 houses) and increased all of the liability limits to Citizens and saved a bunch of money.
