Does anyone know of a good sounding predator call and coyote howler? I already have a squeeler and howler. The squeeler sounds good but it is not loud. The howler sounds like a sick cow or bigfoot. I was looking for new calls but I wanted to see what anyone recommended, rather than go and buy 10-15 different calls till I get one that sounds good.
Thanks Buckmaster,

Sceery makes great line of calls the yotes can`t resist. When I didn`t have as many honey-do jobs that I do now, I would hunt yotes and cats in the winter months. We used Sceery calls for the yotes and they worked well! Came in like on a string. I can`t remember the names of the individual calls.
For the cats, we used Plott and Walker hounds. Brought the fight to the cat! Talk about a blast!!! If you haven`t, you aught to try predator hunting behind hounds. You can even hunt yotes behind hounds but it is better if you hunt places where there is more snow, gives the hounds a chance to catch up to the yote-dogs.

Thanks for the info. I have been trying to get a coyote to come in and have yet to have any success. Not sure if it is the call or me.:dizzy: U.P. Whackmaster, that does sound cool hunting cats behind hounds. Never tried it but I think that is would be cool, even if you didn't see anything just watching and hearing the dogs work would be something to see/hear. I know you said you don't know the names but do you remember what kind of call you were using, a rodent call, varmint squeeler, or a coyote howler or all three at different times. I have only saw one Johnny Stewart call it was a called little varmint call and had a squirrel call in the package. I wasn't sure if they would come into a squirrel call or not so I didn't get it.
Thanks again,

Check out www.wildlifetech.com
I have had one for about 7 years and can attest that what Bill Martz says is right on!
