We haven't spoken/typed yet, but I am sick of reading and wanted to drop you a line. Grew up in Roscommon County/Deadstream Swamp, I think we need to 'chat', if you know what I mean. Hope your fall is going well and hope to type to you soon.

You should know the hot spots then for that area, eh? We have a cabin up there and we are trying to find a "hot spot" or two on some state land around the area (where we won't see all kinds of other hunters). Maybe you can give us some hints or point us in the right direction, or better yet.... GPS coordinates! :D

That swamp is a real bear (no pun intended). Got turned around in there a few times when I was younger. I am much more familiar with some of the big swamps south of HL and south of Prudenville, but I do consider Deadstream the 'real' swamp around. Looking very forward to learning more over the next few years (I am finally relocating back to MI)

Where is your cabin? Great area, always considered myself lucky to grow up in HL.
