Does anyone else think the picture doesn't quite look right? The second pic looks a little better than the first one, and they gator is swimming forward yet the deers head doesn't appear to be dragging at all in the water????

It could be the way the gators jaws on the bottom of the deer are causing the neck and head to bend in that direction.

Or it could have been a dead deer to begin with and the gator is scavenging and rigor mortise has set in..

Interesting shot. The key deer is a very tiny subspecies of whitetail, maybe it's a key deer? Or maybe that's just one mondo gator? Cool shot, tho. :)

It does look for sure like the deer was dead before the gator got it (stiff neck etc). This came off my new trail cam on my new blimp.:)

I wasn't sure exactly how to reply:

"Does this mean that gators are against QDM?"

"From the size of that deer you can tell that gator isn't from Lake county...way too big!"

or my personal favorite:

"Do older gators qualify to use cross bows?"

Sorry just had to get those off my chest!
