Well guys before you get carried away. Just to let you know this is a picture of my wife and the deer she killed last night first time on the stand ever. We went out and got her a bow in July and shot a lot and then shot some more. Well, to make a long story short she had a smaller buck get in on her earlier last night and couldn't get the shot off. At 7pm this dude walked the edge of the corn offered a broadside shot and I actually found this buck on my way to get her from her stand. Perfect double lung only went about 75-90 yards.

Congrats to Christian on that fine looking buck. I'm waiting to take my first and hope I do when I go back home for 3 weeks.

Good work Christian!

I got the call at about 8:00 last night from Heavyshot asking for the use of my truck for a deer...
"HECK YA I'll be right there.... what did you shoot"

"ummm I didn't shoot anything but Christian shot a 5 point"

so after laughing at him and making sure he realized that his wife just shot a bigger buck than he has ever shot on her first night in a stand I trucked on over there to lend a hand!

only bad part now is she thinks this hunting thing is WAY too easy :lol:
