I got a call today from the guy that lost his bow..
i had turned it in at the newaygo state police post and gave them all the info, found on Pirece road west of M-37 in Brohman Fri night. Right in the middle of the gravel road. Thought that it had probally bounced out of someones pickup. It was in a heavy camo canvas case and turned out to be a PSE Thunderbolt LE with a bracklyn archery scope and all the accs. 6 arrows with new Thunderheads, release, scents, tools, string tracker, and more.
I went through every thing looking for a name, address, receipt, anything, and found nothing so i turned it in. They took my name and # and told me if after 3 months nobody claimed it i could have it back. ( if 1 of the cops didnt want it!! )
Anyway i guess a stateboy was paying his bill at the resturant in Brohman and saw a paper plate by the checkout that the guy put up about his lost bow, the cop called the # on the plate and told him 1 had been turned in.
Sure enough it was his and gave me a call thanking me ( alot ) !
Turns out he was spending the night in the back of his blazer on one of the 2 tracks back there and had set the bow on top of the truck for more room.:bash: He was waiting for his brother to show up but he called and said his truck broke down about 10 miles south so he just crawled up to the seat and went to go get him. You know what happens after that!!!
Makes me feel really good this guy got his bow back. Im sure he learned a lesson!!! Case Solved:D

Wish there were more people in this world like you. How many people do you think would have kept the bow or tried to sell it on ebay. Yor a good man. I had the same accident with my hunting knife a while back. I left it on top of my truck and drove away. Somewhere that knife is probably gutting a deer. LOL
