Gale force winds on Erie

Just cheched NOAA forecast,gale force winds today on Erie northwest winds 35 knots, waves 7-10 ft :yikes: Think that will muddy up the water?

The Saginaw Bay hasn't been what I'd call clear since Mid-July. And with the recent rains spewing river run off out the channel, I'd say she going to be cloudy for the near future.

Agree with that for sure. Crossing over the Saginaw River twice a day to/from work, she is chocolate milk ! Dumping all that out into the Bay, you guessed it. :( That and the winds, no fishing for me for a few days for sure. The river will be the next attack anyway, I'm loving these cold nights, the 'eyes will be starting their move. :evilsmile :fish:
P.S. - 1/4 oz. red head jig with a 3" Gulp ! minnow - Oh Baby !!!

Well the forecast is looking nice so this is not what I wanted to hear. I can catch waldo's right by my house from shore right now, but this weekend looks too nice to let the boat sit idle. Will have to take this party inland.
