New guy needs some help

Hello everyone. I've been lurking for awhile and decided to post because I need some help. I've been impressed with the quality of information shared here and the dedication you have to your sport. I'm looking at some property near Jones Lake in Barry Co., which connects to Mud Lk., Wilkinson Lk. and Cloverdale Lake. Can anyone gve me info on these lakes? Are these lakes spring fed? Good fishing? Should I be concerned with lake levels? Are the channels passable with a 17 ft. deep-V fishing boat? Any help would be greatly appreciated. SJS

All kidding aside, welcome to the site. Oh, and I know nothing about any of the lakes you mentioned... just had to get my jabs in early because next week I'll probably be trying to hide under a rock....

On the football note not making any predictions but MSU will be fighting a wounded Wolverine backed in a corner. Although the Spartans have played some excellent football this year. Welcome to the site Mike I wish I could help you but I have only have fished the big lakes for the last 7 yrs and know nothing about the lakes you mentioned.

My brother lives on Wilkinson and I live not too far away on Big Cedar Lk.(private lake with great fishing!) without going into all the detail here you can shoot me a P.M. and I can give the scoop!! but, you'll love the area around here......tons of good fishing lakes and lots of good hunting!.... :shhh: ,also have a good friend that lives on Wilkinson that is a realtor for Knobloch if you need some more help with that part
