Ok,

Here is my problem.
I am planning a fish trip for next spring. May probably. I am taking about 6 guys from my family. In the past we have went to Canada and Lake Gogebic.

I am considering a couple places. I was thinking about Au Train in the UP (never been there) maybe Mullet Lake and Burt Lake (heard they was not many fish but a lot of traffic)

Any suggestions where I should go for 5 days?

Would like to stay in Mich.

Any help would be great.
Thanks

Brent

have you ever thought about going to litttle bays denock. we go there every spring and do very well. there are a lot of resorts on the bay. check the web to find the resorts and fishing reports. we have been going either the last weekend in may or the second weekend in june. also maybe big manistique lake. good walleye, pike, and perch fishing there. good luck.

Lake Lelanau and the surrounding lakes (including Grand Traverse Bay) has some great walleye and smallmouth bass fishing, as well as good numbers of pike and panfish. Lots of places to stay in that area too... hotels in Traverse City or rent a cabin on the water.
