Just got back from the 25th annuel trip with the boys. Water was very low, and very warm. We got a few walleye, a few kings, some smallies, and lots of pike. Huge perch were being caght by the locals. Too warm for coho, browns or steelies. I got my biggest pike ever, 41.5" 17#.

Nice pike! What area of the river do you fish for the warm water varieties? Nothing specific unless you care to pm me ;) I've only fished downstream of locks between rapids and sugar island for salmon, but would love to catch some pike or perch up there. I've heard up river of locks is shallower and good for pike but never tried it. Also other side of sugar island in lake george.

We fish downstream from Sugar Is. Between St Joe. Is. and the Ontario mainland. Miles and miles of good pike water. Lots of rocks you have to be carefull. We fish between Richards Landing, and Hilton beach.
