MI Duck Hunter

I don't know how to react....I have had permition to hunt two different farms in the Sand Lake area for the past 5 years, on Friday my hunting partner and I were notified by each of the farmers that we would no longer be able to firearm hunt their lands. One gave us no reason and the other was told by his grandson that he wanted the property to himself.
Granted, it is their property and they can do with it as they wish and we both thanked them for the years they let us hunt, but dang, only days before the firearm season is to start.
If they would have give us two weeks notice we could have found some other private land to hunt and even had the chance to scout some public land. Now I'm taking the rest of the week off from work to try to find a place.
I love the challenge of hunting whitetail, but this adds a new twist.
So, I guess, all I can say is...."Next year we Lease" (hehe).
Thank you for readinng my rant,
