Little Traverse Bay Bass???

Hey Guys,

I'm looking for some help in locating bass in Little Traverse Bay. I've got a tournament up there this week-end and have never pre-fished the area before. I realize that most of you are out trolling for chunky kings this time of year, but I'm sure somebody knows somethig about the BASS!!!

Little traverse bay? That can get rough if the wind's from the West.

My tournament blasts out of lake charlevoix, and its poop for bass fishing right now. So, it's either little traverse bay or beaver island. From what I understand beaver island is about 23 miles out. That would leave me protected from the prevalent west wind, but would make for a bumpy ride home (with the waves, hopefully). I was also told that many winning bags have come out of little traverse bay.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Well the only advice I can offer is wear your PFD!! Never fished the bay.
