Today went out of sterling state park, no one fishing eyes to speak of.
Everyone went north toward stoney point or south a mile, we went straight out 25' of water got three eater walleye and lost another. wish we would have started earlier, didn't get on lake till after 8 am.
Hopefully more reports coming from others, I almost didn't go due to lack of reports.:fish::fish:

borntofish ,
There have been plenty of boats fishing walleye down by Sterling the past few weeks , there have been several threads recently on walleye fishing on ERIE , I statrted one Tuesday 9/13 and I know walleyedreaming has been posting almost daily on his walleye fishing on ERIE . Last sunday I was perchin and all boats around me were trolling for Walleye .You will find this time of year that most boats fishing walleye by mid morning will switch to perch . Some due switch back walleye late afternoon .

Double Trouble,
Check out my gallery I posted my rig, note that I take the hook off the larger scorpion "flasher" 36" to the dipsey then run a 24" leader to the spoon. I can't take credit for it I got the idea when I talked to a Michigan Stinger rep at one of the fishing shows about a new flasher product they were developing and just kind of experimented with what I had in my box.
This red color has produced 12 out of the 16 fish I caught during the last couple of trips. Today every fish came when I was doing a turn around on my markers. Next time I might just troll in circles. LOL

dt- don't think too hard! bb & harness! been getting limits in the am!
you don't have to use the "david blane" method of walleye fishing on erie!!!
drag a Q-tip in front of them at the right hours of the morning & you'll get erie wally''''s

Hey DT -
How many hits do you get on your dipseys and nothings there...Just curious if they hit the flasher and not the spoon sometimes? Something to think of for the HawgFest this weekend over in Huron, Ohio...
Will be in Huron Thurs-Fri-Sat...
