I like Tru-Ball (http://www.truball.com/)and Scott (http://www.scottarchery.com/products/cat-deluxe.tpl).......but you must try them and see what you like too...$$$ is an issue too!

Thise are my 2 favs too....great Minds I guess ABD ;)
Hard to beat a Scott for straight hunting applications.
I use a Truball Pro Diamond for indoor, 3D and will hunt with it as well this year. I use the Caliper head as opposed to the Talon sheerly for the "Click" on the Talon when it locks on the back.

I use a TRU Ball Titan and really like it a lot.
On the suggestion of a friend of mine I tried a Winns Free Flight, but it just didn't feel right. Same with the TrueFire Judge. Try a few and shoot what feels best for you.
While I don't have a lot of experience with other models, I've used the Truball double-ball for several years and really like it. I don't know if they even make it any more.

I have two tru-fire X-Calipers that Ive had since the early 90's. One for my target bow and one to hunt with. Simple and never had a malfunction. Very durable. $42 at Gander Mtn won't break the bank either. Carters and better tru-balls can run well over $100. Have had good experiences with Jim Fletcher releases also.

Carter Lokjaw 200 are on clearance at GM in Flint. 30. Nice release, especially at that price.
Don't buy unless you shoot several. I got a TruBall Short-n-Sweet to shoot with my string loop and love it. Scott Rhino was my 2nd choice. Good luck!

Winn's Free-flight.
Been shooting the same release for over 10 years now. Never had a problem.
Except the velcro strap is starting to get worn out. Any idea's from you other guys about that??
But 11 years without a worry!!
Good Luck, Be Safe!!
