That's a Bushnell Trail Scout. I think the lense might be dirty. The other pics seem less blurry...

Here is a new one from yesterday. Looks like the velvet is all gone.

Yeah...digital. It's the only way to go. I have two memory cards and switch them out in the woods. When I'm really impatient, I take my laptop with me and load it in my truck while I'm still out there...

Nothing like instant gratification!

That first one that you think is a spike....I think it's a small four or six!!!!

thanks,i agree about the digital. i have a game vu but i'm unhappy with the quality of the photos and the amount of pictures of nothing.would like to get another digital but am unsure of which one to go with, really don't like the idea of a flash going off to educate the deer that something is going on.does anyone know of an digitals other than the game-vu that uses no flash at night?

I can't really say yet whether the flash scares them or not. My thought is that since it's totally silent, all they get is blinded for a second or so and don't have a clue what happened. I guess I'll know the answer if I get the same deer over and over in the same location.

The pics I posted of the nice buck in my buddies back yard...Those deer weren't spooked at all. But...they were used to the activity of people in the back yard.

Ya they spike is definately bigger than that. It has to be a forky or atleast a six.
