Anyone have any opinion on Parker bows? I was looking at a hunter mag outfitter package and I really liked it. Was just wondering what others thought.

Hey PackerFan,
Whatever you do, get over to Al & Bob's and shoot a Bowtech Tomkat. If you can, talk to Rob. I was looking early this spring and went everywhere and shot every bow that was in my price range (less than $500 with basic accessories).
I liked the Tomkat best and as a package bow I think it was a steal of a deal at $459. Mine is right hand, 27.5" draw, and peaks out at 64lbs.
I shot the parkers and thought they were nice, but they were noiser and had WAY more hand shock than the Tomkat. They only other bow I like almost as well was a Martin Saber.

As with any bow you should try them.
You may like what someone else don’t.
I have the Parker UL31 and love every inch of it.
The UL31 dosen't have too many inches to love.

Howdy-
Parker, Hoyt, Mathews, AR, et al are all high-quality, reliable bows from well-known, reputable manufacturers.
You won't go wrong purchasing any of them.
Asking for opinions is like asking if Ford is better than Chevy, etc. Everyone's opinion will be different; it's up to you to decide if the bow fits your needs or not. Try to get to a pro shop where you can try one and compare to other models, and make the call for yourself. ;)

I've had my parker challenger for a year and I love it. I especially love how the bow with all accessories weighs around 2.5 lbs.
good luck-

Sorry all,
Had to post under my partners name. This is Turnquij.
I went through a lot of bows this year trying to find what fit me the best. I must say I am very pleased with the park extreme mag. Don't get me wrong I think all the other bows were very nice and price was not the issuse but for some reason the parker just felt as if it was part of me.
I couldn't be more happier with it. Can't wait to get it into the woods this year.
Do what feels right to you!!!

Head down to Grand Valley Sportsman in Allendale. They'll set you up nice with a Parker Outfitter setup. (Outfitter being the parker package bundle) They also have a range now and it's a great place to sight in.
It's on the north side of M45(Lake MI drive) just past the Marathon station.
