Well I've got a "late 60's" 16' aluminum that doesn't have a closed bow but has a casting platform up front. It's got an early 60's 40 hp Evinrude and a decent trailer. I've had it on the site since Spring at $1200 with no takers. I recently dropped it to a grand and still no lookers. I thought it was a reasonable asking price but it's still sitting here. Oh well, just gotta find the right person I guess.

"Old" aluminum boats with "old" motors are worth only what some one is willing to pay for it. There are soooooo many of them for sale these days. Price your boat to sell and it will sell. This usually means you'll be getting quite a bit less for it than you think it's worth. Nature of the market I guess. It is, and always will be, a buyers market in Michigan. Soooooooo many boats for sale here...
