Fished today even though I knew conditions would be tough NE Winds Waves 2-4 ft. Started in 18 fow got 3 real fast one 22 inches didn't get another hit for a hour so I changed directions hit another fish at 20 ft. Things slowed till around 11 then I caught 4 more culling 2 of the 15 1/2 inchers I had. Wind never slowed down so I didn't want to go out to far to my perch hole. Went in at 12:30, thought I did pretty good on a day when conditions were tough. I got back to the ramp and two old timers were there shooting the #### so I stopped to talk with them for a few minutes. They were pretty disappointed they had planned to spend the day perch fishing but it was just too rough for them. I kinda felt sorry for them so I gave them my walleyes and they sure appreciated it. I came home with no fish but I think I have 2 more friends.Jeez I guess I am turning into a big softy  I hope the cooler temps will turn the perch on again.

Not quit as nice as getting a Hot Brat on a cold day on the ice, but a nice gesture just the same. ;)
