Any idea what a used one is worth? Kind of vague, I know, don't know the age of it but here's the deal:
Oneida Aero Force
60-80# Draw
70% Let-Off
9 Carbon Arrows
Site, Case, bow doodle rest.

I just sold a 1997 model for 140 shipped to Colorado.

There's another guy that was interested as well...

Post the serial number and someone can tell you what year it was made.

According the Gospel on Oneida(Mikie ;) ) they sell for btw 100 and 225 for the later models and depending on condition and whatnot.

an aeroforce I converted to 80%, an aeroforce x80, and a strike eagle. they all shoot great, and if you know what your doing, thier easy to work on. I paid $150 for the X80, and it was in excellent condition when I bought it.

Worth $200 or less....

Easy to work on and fun to shoot. It is one of or the easiest bow to draw back too!:p

Just sold mine (left handed) for $250.00. Included Bo Doodle super doodle arrow rest, red dot scope, dozen arrows with field tips and broadheads. Also quiver and Gator jaws release. I called him yesterday and asked if he would consider selling it back to me. He is pleased with it.

Can I get a price check on isle two?

I have an Oneida bow I bought in about 1991 or 1992. It is a right hand model and the weight is 50 to 70 pounds. The serial number is ACJ8872. The string is 47" and it has a medium draw. The bow is perfect. There are no stickers on the limbs and never have been. Black plastic grip. My wife thinks the model may be Aero Force Strike Eagle.

Anybody got a guess what it is worth?

Thanks

i believe it is a Aero Force by the AC in the serial number...got a pic

if it is a strike the outbords are real long and the string touches very little of the tip area....alot of people converted their strikes over to aero forces

$10.00 depending on what components are on it

:rolleyes:there is one in every crowd;)

depending on the condition ... AF's go for 100.00 200.00 sometimes more if they are in great shape with options.

good luck

The Aeroforce is a great bow. Dont let anyone tell you its not. Most people bad mouth Oneida's because they are different. Dispite what you hear, they are easy to work on and tune. Their main downfall is the steel cables that wear out after time. But, they are affordable to replace.
I picked up an Aeroforce a year or so ago with a scope for $150 and I considered it a steal.
Like Mikie said, they go for around 100 to 200 all day long. They can even bring more on ebay.
Good luck with trying to sell it. Have some patience and you will find someone who knows that it is a good bow and will buy it.
Get some pics and post it over on the monsterbow site (mosterbows.com/forums). There are Oneida fans over there that may be interested.
If I didnt already have two Oneidas, I might be interested.

Thanks for the quick replies. I found the website for Oneida and asked if they could check their records for the model.

I was lucky. From the moment I touched a bow I could hit paper plates pretty regular. Guys I worked with were getting together for "Braggin Rights" shootouts when I bought this fine bow. With a few cheap attachments and a handful of finely tuned arrows I rarely lost.

Later in life this bow was the weapon I most often chose to harvest deer from my Michigan property. With a little practice my old skills would return.

I guess thats my long way of saying I too think its worth more than $10.

I can't post pictures until I've posted 15 other times. I can't post a link either.

Anyone interested in a fine bow in like new condition I can be reached at utah_ratman@msn.com (utah_ratman@msn.com)

I only want fair price for the bow. Never dry fired, dropped or abused. Not a mark on it.

Rat, there is a thread on the Monsterbows site that has a serial# history chart that you could print up.

Well, This was some of the finest readin' i've had the opoortunity to read in a long while on the archery forum.
This is the first time i've read folks sayin' some good things about the Onida. I just bought one, a Talon last September. Actually, my Bride bought it for me. I was suprised,as was said, how smooth it was. A fine shooter too, very consistent It sure makes me look good.

There is a ton of great reading and info on Oneida's over at the monsterbows site (monsterbows.com/forums). There are many knowledgeable people over there to help with set up and tuning. Give them a try. Oneida's have a bad rep, but like I said in an earlier post it is mostly ignorance. They arent more complex, and they are not junk. In fact, they are quite easy to tune and set up. And, they have a better resale than most bows. And, parts are readily available. Put a couple limbsavers on it, like any other bow, and they quiet right down. The monster's line of bows are nice as well. That is next on my wish list.

Nice photo, and thanks for the info. about the monster bow forum. this is the first time i've heard of that brand. It looks like the Onida design with a different cable set up.
I purchased my bow as a package. It came with the red dot sight,a whisker biscut rest and a gator release. So far i've been shooting with it pretty good, however i'm thinkin' of adding a counter weight extension to the front, thinking it may absorb even more shock and tighten my groups up a bit. I'll play with that later. Thanks again.
