Not sure if this is where I should post this and I don't want to start the usual crossbow debate but here goes. I am in a situation where I will not be able to bow for this year. I had some surgery on my arm and a plate put in it and will definately be sidelined this year. I hope to return to full form and be able to use my bow again next year (I just put a bunch of upgrades on at the end of last season). I will qualify for the KY crossbow permit and should find out soon about a temporary MI permit. I have been bowhunting many years and the thought of sitting one out is tough. I don't want to put a bunch of money into a crossbow, I am in the frame of mind that this should only be a one year thing. If anyone has one that they would like to trade, loan(w/ collateral) or rent please send me a pm. I do plan to start looking at some used ones but don't want to have to put a bunch of coin into a bow for one season(hopefully). All of my hunting will be from this ground this year so that means my climber and a few other stands are available for a short term trade.

Hi Outside: Sounds like you are into a bad situation. Drop me a line concerning the crossbow.

Keep smiling!

I have been with a permit to use a Crossbow in Michigan for 6 years and work on the Crossbows.

I like in no order, Horton, Excalibur, and Ten Point.

Excalibur shoots the flater of the three.....

One Crossbow out in the bow world has lots of problems.....But I will not bash them here...

Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. I am looking at some used ones on ebay. I am very leary of buying something like a bow w/out checking it out before hand. I don't want to end up having to put a bunch of work/$$ into one. PM'ed you
Backwoods.
