719.00 up by me. For that price you might as well go with the switchback, higer relase value, better speed and only 1" longer ATA.

You'll Find Good Deals After The Season Not 3 Weeks Before, check Out Dicks(not The Store Chain) Off Of Grand River There A Mathews Dealer.there's Also Some On Ebay, hard To Find Any Deals On Any Mathews Bow,people Snag Em Up Quick When They Do Go On Sale So You Always Gotta Be Lookin. I Think 3 Wks Is Not Nearly Enough Time To Get Accostomed To A Bow That Your Going To Kill A Animal With, just My 2 Cents Worth Though Good Luck

I think I'll stick with my havoctec for hunting this year, but as always thanks for your two cents !

Try not to buy used, as it voids the warranty. Spend a couple bucks more and get a Switchback, as Grouse Hunter suggested. I got my SB for about $719. An awesome bow!!!

Warrany is overrated. I can't tell you how many bows I have had in the past 2 years. Its at least a dozen or more. Never had a need for warranty work, had I bought each of those bows new however, my bank account would be in need of warranty work, cause I'd be broke. Save yourself about 40% buying used.

I'd get the Switchback over the Outback....but I'd also get an LX over either.

Consider the LX...it's a little more accurate, and my own comparisons have shown about a 7-8fps differance in speed between the two. 7-8fps may not seem like a lot, but consider I have to shoot my Switchback almost 4#'s heavier than my LX to get the same speed with same arrow and same draw length.

The Switchback may be a little smoother or "feel" better in the store, but all that only sells bows at the store, and makes no differance whatsoever a week later when you've ran a couple hundred arrows through it and it fits like a glove.

I like my Switchback and it's a great bow, but for at least the same accuracy...difinately not less, and a few pounds less draw weight for the same energy, my personal choice is still the LX.

I heard Van's has a pretty good deal on the switchback, but you should probably call, many dealers are getting out of stock this late in the season.

Another thing I have to agree with you on Jeff.

The 3 LX's I have owned I never got used to the draw on them. Always seemed like it was stopped just short in the valley, even on the 80% slot. The Sb has a better draw in my opinion and IBO speeds are supposed to be a touch faster on the SB. I have heard good things about the accuracy of it as well.
