a friend of mine got his son abow this year for his first season he is smll framed and not drawing much but is a great shot out to 20yds shooting 40 pounds wheel bow(parker) he is using 25 inch 33/55 gtips he asked me about broadheads. i said a cut on cantact 100-125 would work well he is having issues with the 125 part thinking they might be to heavy! i said he is only shooting 20yds max!
i gave him this list of heads.
stingers 4 blade or 2
first cut from eastman
g5 b-52
or the muzzy phantoms hes till thinks 125 is too heavy! ack. say the stingers or the first cut
I thinks any solid fixed blade broadhead will do the job, but I would suggest 100g over 125g. I remember being younger and shooting an old Darton that was pretty weak on draw weight, and I thought that 125s were what I needed to help make up for the lack of poundage. I soon learned 100s were more suited for my set-up, as they seemed to fly more accurately and got much better penetration . . . although with keeping the distances short and good shot placement there shouldn't be too much of a problem. I would recommend Muzzy, G5 Montec, or old reliable Thunderheads.

Check out the GKF Banshees. They're made just for that setup!!

100 would be the better bet. You'll have an easier time spining the arrow properly and keep the FOC under 25% ;)
You may be in luck Steve :D

100 grains would give you better foc with a light arrow. i would try the first cut or a B-52

I draw 40# and use a Muzzy 100 gr. Penetration is good and I have had to make ZERO adjustments going from a field point to a broad head.

Well this is just my opinion but it seems the arrows are not spined right and are to heavy for his set-up.
A better arrow set-up for him in my opinion would have been the Gold Tip 600's @ 25" with 85 grain fix bladed heads. This would give him room to increase his poundage without having to change his set-up.
With the 100's you may want to try and up his poundage to give his arrows a better flight.
