What type of fall away should I go with?

I have heard good things about these fall aways...but which one is best value for the money? I am on a tight budget and would like to upgrade my prong rest.

I don't see how you can go wrong with the original Trophy Taker. Very simple rest, solid, and effective. Also quiet. I have that and a more expensive Sheaffer and like the Trophy Taker the best.

Checkout ebay, the Trophy Taker Shakey's are going for about $35, versus $69 everywhere else I looked.

I'm a GKF TKO fan myself. A lot of rest for the $$$$. And they have some of the best customer service in the business!! Give em a look.

TT for sure, well built and a good value. A buddy just put a Schaeffer on his new Switchback...looked like a quality rest but it is probably twice the price of the TT.

TT is about as solid as you can get. Throphy Ridge Drop Zone is a winner as well.

TKO...No better value if you on a budget. TT and TKO are a little easier to tune but all work extremely well.

Rough estimates are $80 for the Drop Zone, $70 for the Trophy Taker and $50 for the TKO though as Matt said you can find deals around.

I shoot a Drop Zone by Trophy Ridge, I love it. It is the only drop away rest I have used but I doubt I will use anything other than this rest again. Not the cheapest but in my opinion worth the extra pennies.

I am sure others very nice also.

I use an APA Twister Safari. It is an excellent rest, imo. It came highly recommended from the pro at my local shop. He uses one too. Cost is under $30. You can find them at some online sites for under $25 + shipping.

I went to a muzzy ZE, little more money and little more added weight but I am happy with it. Quietest one I have used so far and tightest groups I have had in a while since the switch.
