Havin problems with my throttle and was wondering if anyone could help. I converted my 1992 9.9 hp evinrude 2 stroke from a tiller handle to controls. It worked correctly, but the connection from the throttle cable to the engine isn't very good. It is connected with a trunnion, and then a snap that holds the cable from moving. When making a turn, the cable wants to pull out and unfortunately has a few times. I guess i'm asking if there is a better or different way to get remote controls for a 2 stroke, or should i just keep trying????
