Mercury 150 XR6

I'm looking into buying a boat that has a 2001 Mercury 150 hp XR6 motor. I'm just wandering what the XR6 is all about. Is it better or worse than the EFI or Optimax or is there anything about it I should watch out for? Thanks alot.

nothing wrong with those motors,better or worse than the others thats a personal thing,,those motors a pretty big with the drag race v-pad crowd,,,i would suggest if you like her have her checked out good and what the hey
