Hats Off to Houghton Laker

Today I was on the big pond in my brother-in-laws boat and we broke down a couple miles out and could not get her started again. I call my good friend Kevin (houghton laker) up on the cell phone and he rushes from what ever he was doing to get his boat and come out and tow us back in.

Hats off to you kind sir for keeping me and family out of trouble. I didnt get a chance to talk to you at the dock but thanks a million and name your price or whatever you want its yours!

That is what is so great about this site, Memebers like houghton laker willing to help another sportsman out in anyway possible. I would also do the same!

My mechanical abilities are fine just not my electrical abilities....:lol:

Any time I can do you a favor...You got it!! No payment neseccary....next time it may be myself who needs a hand and I am sure another ms fisherman would come to my rescue!!!
As for that bucket of 77 perch.....I did not have to clean a one!! Went to my Eagles club to have a drink and get some boat tarp material I had there and are usual expert cook came in with a 3- GIANT trays of Food...1- of spareribs....1-of pork tenderloins and Gumbo and 1- of scalloped potatoes!!!!! We feested!!!!!! He then mentioned he is doing a charity dinner at Metro tomorrow and would love to have a few for the dinner......well he got 77 perch!! He was a happy camper...all the $$ goes to the Red Cross....So it was a day full of Charity work!!...but we did make it back out for about 15 more perch!! :corkysm55
