sat morn perch

fished off 9mile 7:00 to 11:00 14/15ft of water,ended up with 25 keepers 8-9in. lots of dinks thrown back. good size weed bed about1 mile out,if you can find it thats the place we did best. good minnows hard to find but ended up with golden shiners from the BP gas dock comming out of miller marina. lakeside only had mud minnows so decided to pass on them. going out again sun to try the afternoon bite,will post results :fish: good fishing [ justin time ch68 ]

We could only muster up 26 perch Jerry........same sizes that you had!! I am amazed at the amount of 4" bass that we have been catching this summer???? Barely bigger than a minnow!! will give it a try again tomorrow morning!!

My two boys and I fished this morning in the Middle Channel (south end) and between the three of us we brought home 11 perch from 7 - 11.5 inches. We fished in 17-19 FOW.

Two friendly fishermen also came by and donated their three small walleye to our creel.

We also ran into some pretty large smallmouth bass. In all, we caught five of these in one spot.

Nice catch Widgendog, i have a cottage on the middle channel. Its paradise out there. nice to fish with your boys,, aint it!!!!
