Looking for Monroe Area Info

Hi all,
Will be in the Monroe area this weekend and would like some info on smallmouth fishing the MI Erie waters and any good ramps around Monroe.
Figured the Detriot River might be a little busy and wanted to try and find some smallys between Detriot River and Monroe.. I have went out of Metro Park many years ago, but was looking for something around like Stoney Point..
Or is fishing for smallys on Erie on the MI a waste of gold or I meant GAS.. or might I be better going to Elizibeth park and fighting traffic in the river??

if your looking to hit stoney point go out of sterling state park. its right there.
don't know about the smallies but lots of good perch fishing in that area. take your ice fishing rods & get some minnows.
i think sterling is exit 15 off of I-75.
other monroe launchs are Bolles harbor, & luna pier.

yes perch are very hot in the area right now..i want to go back out so bad.....who wants to take me lol
