Need a good bait store to get some good chugging minnows , anywhere between New Baltimore and Deckers. Will be launching near Deckers. I know there is a bait store next to the DNR launch in Fair Haven but someone I was talking with didn't speak too highly of their minnows.

Try Mackey's on Anchor bay drive. He may or may not have some. He nets his own. I ususally use plastic and seem to do just as good or better than using meat. Some of my best results came on using two small (2") plastic minnows at once rather than one larger one. I use natural looking plastic minnows. The ones that are whitish gray with a black back.

have you been to ACO sports. on the corner of sugarbush and 23. Mike had some pretty large tanks in there. haven't been there in a few years though.

Got minnows for chugging there 3 times this year. Good bait and good quantity for the money. Blue Water I think is the name of it. Opens at 5:30, 5 if he gets up early!
