St. Clair River Hot Action

[Hooker]

Pulled wire just north of the bridge saturday night on the U.S. side. Caught our 2 person limit in just a couple of hours & threw back around 6 little ones. 11 of the fish were between 13" & 14" (EATERS !!!), the other was about 3 pounds. Most of the fish were caught up and down the 20'-30' ledge. Small rapalas - yellow and white jointed & black and silver # 7's. Get em' while the gettin's good !!! Hooked in to something just after dark that nearly pulled out all of my wire - then broke the 25 lb. test half way up the 30' lead. Hmmmmmmm ???!!!

I hear that is the place to be right now since a few of my other spots are not producing like I would like, I will have to make it up there along with the other 500 boats,, Cya Slick

yeah the same snag that I caught up in with 25lb test mono with a freighter coming up right behind me :yikes:
