sunday morning report

[Slick fishing]

Hello everyone a buddy and I went out this morning and was only able to land three walleye, today was one of the slower days I have ever had out on the river, even tho better than a good day at work.. The wind was high and there were more small mouth fisherman out there than there was walleye fisherman..

A friend of mine was out there handlining and he did not pick up one fish other than a small mouth that he threw back.. :fish: Well guys good luck out there catch a bunch.. Cya Slick

[Houghton laker]

Was out on the pond today...took the wife out for a little perch trip...we only ended up with a few keepers....and some of the smallest bass I have seen caught....The minnow was bigger than one of the bass :lol: ....we could not find any emerald shinners so we had to use mud minnows :( She also managed to get about a 6lb. sheepshead.....that was fun to watch!! Mike the Elder stopped by trying to share some of his mojo on us but to no avale on this WINDY day....wife enjoyed herself so that is all that matters.....now a little handlining in the river tomorrow morning with Big Laker and maybe a little perch fishing in the evening!

Good Luck out there on the river tommorow Kevin, it sure was tough this morning. My crew claimed to have a couple hits but I am not sure I just played captin today. Today was a very expensive day on the river for me, lots of hardware lost with the rookies
