north channel friday night

fished the north channel friday night. started about 5pm, sky was clear, sun was bright, and very windy. ran hammered gold and silver for a couple hours, no takers. about 7pm the clouds came in, turned the sky overcast, and the wind died. switched over to green and chartruese harnesses and picked up 5 between 7pm and 9pm. beautiful night on the water..

Nice job bripow, I fished the FC and came home with 3, BB'n with the white ladderback being the lure of choice!

By all my calculations....you should have enough walleye fillets now Bripow...to feed us all pretty good at your next fish fry!! :lol: :lol: Great job on the fish!!

thanks HL. It was the first time out in a few weeks so it was good to hit the pond again. Wife is due Sept 26 with our first so I've only got a little bit of fishing left before I have to stay close to home for when I get "the call". Hopefully after the baby is born come October the perch bite will be on !

That's great!! Congrats.!!! Hope he, or she is strong and healthy....can't ask for more than that! I have 1 son...and he is my favorite ice fishing partner!! He loves the snowmobiling and walleye Icefishing!

Congrats on the fish, oh yeah and the future baby too. A little advice from a father, dont do what I did. I was on the pond trolling when I got the call from my wife last August.......:hide: :SHOCKED: lets just say that went over like a lead balloon....:lol: She went 2 weeks early!
