fished last night just inside the mouth of the old south channel from the red bouy to the end of the rockpile, kept 3 out of 6 walleye, 2-14", 1-18". started up after the yahoos in a couple of LARGE powerboats stopped running the channel (best was 6-8:30). 29-30' FOW. running four rods ALL fish came on hammered brass blades with chartreuse and orange beads. The lake wasn't busy at all. Dave

I am heading out this evening. I will be in the Firecracker area. Last month I fished the old south channel and caught many "shorties". The handliners were also doing very well in the same area. I will be on channel 68. Call sign is Tipper. I may even run a flatfish or two.

We caught 6 keepers to 19" Friday night. As the wind picked up so did the catching. Nice evening to be out. No preferred colors, silver with red beads. Gold with Chartruse beads.

was out to the same area this morning. strong, south wind made boat control pretty tough some perch and small walleye but nothing to bring home. enjoy going with the current and wind rather than working against either. most of the fish today were between buoy 29 and 27 in 15 to 20 fow. wind kept moving us away from the channel. ended up trolling with the wind.
