I'll be heading out tomorrow for an afternoon/evening trip with 3 Muskie virgins. I haven't targeted Muskie in a couple weeks and was wondering if anyone has been doing any good on the Canadian side. If I don't hear any good reports, I'll probably start down by the C marker/Pike's Creek and troll east from there. As always, I appreciate any input. :)

I'm surprized ESOX hasn't suggested fishing the St. Clair Flats area. I think you have convinced Jr and I that most all the Muskie are in Canada! :p ;)
LMAO......
Camera parts are on the way. Maybe some pics of fish with GPS #'s in the backround might convince you guys that the muskie don't all say "EH?"

You know I'm just kidding you!
Some of you might remember a post by Shimshark who was looking for a LSC Muskie charter. He is a member of our US military and we are finally hooking up for a trip tomorrow along with Bolodunn and his son Bret. I really need to keep the skunk away and get these guys some fish. I'm pretty sure we will but I always like stacking the deck in my favor if at all possible. :)
Heck John, I don't care who they chartered with, they couldn't do any better than they will with you. Go get em guys.:)

I hope I didn't make it sound like I was doing a charter because I do not have a captain’s license. This will just be a friendly fishing trip with no expectations of any money. I have been known to work a little harder for a cold beer though. :p
No, No, I was saying they are just as well off, if not better off on your boat than on a charter.:)

My report is a little dated now, but last Friday was slow on the southern shore near the Red Barn . Three small ski's and 29.5" walleye with a lamprey attached to gills. The fish was less than 5lbs. So old it had gray hair and dentures. Weeds were not to bad considering. Temps in the high 70's.
Just a thought from a rookie, but wouldn't the water coming out of the SCR channels be cooler w/more oxygen and thus more large toothy critters?
Tight lines to you and your crew. Tell the enlisted we all thank them for their service!!!!!!!!!!!
Now there's one smart cookie.:)

Just when I think I have them somewhat figured out, they throw the BIG curve ball. I think I'm going with my gut feel and heading towards Pike's. Not sure why but usually when I don't follow my first intuition, the only bites I get are in the behind! :p Report to follow! :)
