I purchased a Moultrie Game Spy Plus about two weeks ago, but I am having trouble with the digital display to show pictures taken.........I've developed one roll, and on only one occassion did the display work when I went back to check the camera..........yet pictures had always went off....so I tested it lastnight, and it displayed a picture again when I manually made the camera go off, and its done so in the past too.....I know the batteries are fresh because I check them religiously......has anyone had a similar problem with this camera........I am going to take it back, I currently have a digital on order, should have just bought that all along.........other then that, it takes great pics, and works fine. It'd just be nice to not have to unscrew the camera to see how many pictures went off.

If you can take it back do so or call Moultrie direct and have it fixed. I returned my gamespy digital and took the plunge and bought a 1.3 cuddeback and love it!!!!

before opening it up are you turning the switch off? when you turn the switch off it resets the display.

Yah, I always turn off the switch............otherwise it will take a picture from the movement...........My friend has the same exact camera, and he has it on his bait for bears, and I've baited with him three of four times this year, and he does the same exact process..........yet his camera always displays after he shuts it off, closes the shutter then turns it back on

I just bought a Moultrie Game Watcher 100. My question is this, I bought a SD Memory Card and then I got thinking, how am I going to view the pics with this card unless I take the whole camera back?!? My intention was to buy two cards and just take the card out each time and replace with the other but viewing the card is my problem? Is there a device one can buy to plug into computer and view the card and save pics to email?? And also, how does one delete pics on the memory card after your done with that particuliar picture??? I have a printer that I can plug the card into and view the pics and print them off I want to email them as well and need the pic to the computer without having to bring the camera out of the woods every time. Hope I explained this well anough to get an answer?!? Thanks.

Its called a card reader, put the card in and plug it into a port on the computer, I sent away and got one for 5 or 6 dollars, they have them in the best buys etc for a little more, they have two sizes, one for the big cards and ones for the thin postage size cards, mine is about 1 inch wide 3/8 thick and 2 or 3 inchs long

I bought that same moultrie camera, and what I do is take my canon digital camera out in the woods and pop the sd card in it, and review all the pictures...once I decide which ones I want or do not want, I simply delete them right off the card while its in my digital camera...I believe there is an option on the camera to delete pictures, or it may just be for the internal memory. Either way if you own a digital camera and the memory cards are compatible, you can just do that, or buy that card reader someone else spoke of. Another option would be to buy a device that plugs into your television, its similar to a vcr, but it allows you to review all your pictures, it runs about 40 bucks at Best Buy....the drawback is, you must have two cards, otherwise you have to go back out to the woods.......thats why I prefer my digital camera....I can do everything right out there, and if I want to print pictures I just swap out the two cards I have.

I think all of them have the USB capability nowadays. I can't think of one that don't. You shoould also be able to download to your computer from the card reader slot in your printer. Check the "How To's" or "FAQ's" on your printer. I believe a free program like Picasa has the ability to gather all media from all hardware associated with your computer as well.

Yep, most have the USB port. The cable is like $20-$30. I'm gonna look on our printer about being able to use the printer as a source to transfer to our computer.
