Attached and following are the July 7, 2005 Natural Resources Commission meeting minutes as approved on August 11, 2005.
Mark Matus responded to a previous request from the NRC relative to comments on the pending dove referendum issue. He advised them that they may speak in an official and individual capacity on dove issues because it is a non-partisan referendum. Public monies cannot be spent in opposition to the referendum. He suggested that, though the law does not prohibit the NRC to discuss this issue, they should comment cautiously.
