Why bother hunting? Simply buy enough technology to eliminate the work

I'm heading out to buy some lottery tickets right now! Or maybe I'll sell my truck! That's crazy $10G's!

Unbelievable. I cannot image anyone spending that kind of money? I think I'll stick with good old tracking skills and good shot placement.
I Just bought 3 of em. Keeping one at each stand. :p

Imagine the horror when you realize you've
a: lost it from your bag. or
b: dropped it out of your bag and into the creek

I think I'll stick with the old fashioned way!

Are you serious
I could get some tracer bullets
and hunt at night so I would'nt have to worry about other hunters.

I could see your major outfitters buying this without question to the cost.

I am making a call to my home owners agent to see if it is covered under my plan...yeah right! 10K...When I start paying for something that costs more than my gun I ain't hunting anymore!(Well couple of exceptions)

I agree, especially safari outfitters and whatnot. Sometimes the alternative is loosing a $10g animal.
I think I'll throw it on my equity line account, what the heck!!Holy c***!! I mine as well sign the divorce papaers right now if I bought that!Either that or its hard floors throughout the whole house :yikes:

It would sure be nice to have one if you shoot a brown bear and it gets off into the willows.

10 G's and it is probably fragile as all heck. I bought a few night vision binoculars and monoculars when I used to camp alone and if they fell off the seat of your car onto the floorboard they would break. If I had a piece of equipment that cost 10,000 break falling 1 foot onto carpet I would flip out. Let me rephrase that....if I spent 10,000 on something I didn't need and that would probably break if it fell 1 foot onto carpet I would have already gone mad.
Thanks for posting the link though. It would be even cooler if it were $300.

This might actually be cool to have for finding a wounded/dead deer. I wonder how long a deer would stay warm enough to see in that thing, when it is 20 degrees out, after it died. And while I was tracking I could get some fine cuban tobacco and wrap it 100 dollar bills to smoke. mmmm tasty.

Right now I couldn’t even afford the 6.5% Illinois state tax of $682.50. Wait 2 years and you’ll find them for $599.00 at Jay’s. :p

That kinda takes the "hunt" out of "hunting"...
Would it not be cheaper to just carpet bomb the forest?
Or better yet, pay someone else to kill the deer for you...

I thinks its pretty cool, could never afford it, but it would be fun just to see what's hangin around your house at night.
It would be great for home protection, themal scanner in one hand and .45 in the other.

FLIR technology will be within reach of the common man within our lifetime ('cept fer you old farts with one foot in the hole already...)
Personally, I like gadetry. I dunno why...
When I hunt I tend to leave the lazers and sattelite receivers at home.
Just think....50 short years ago it was AM radio and black and white Ed Sullivan.
Imagine what it'll be like 50 years from now!
Hope I'm dead....
