Someone mentioned a place in the thumb that I could hunt boars at, I know it's a ranch and I understand that many do not consider it a hunt, but I just wondered if anyone has a name or number.
I'd appreciate it.

The hunt is not overly challenging. Did it this past spring and was a little disapointed. The meat is good and the guides were great, just not enough of a challenge.

I went to a small ranch in the thumb a couple years back. Basically all it was, was a farmer fenced off an area of his farm and threw some boars inside.
I agree the hunt was not changelling at all. You could actually walk up to the boars and kick them. I wouldnt recommend it. I dont know if it was just the ranch we went to or if they all are that way.
My two cents

I agree, not overly challenging, but it beats going to the grocery store. If you get a certain sized group, and book it for the weekend, you have the bunkhouse to stay in, get a pig roast, and just plain have some fun when most of the season is over.
